IHG APAC Promo: Stay 3 Pay 2 on Suites and Premium Rooms

IHG One Rewards has launched a new promotion offering a third night free for members booking suites or premium rooms across the Asia Pacific region. This offer applies to stays booked by September 30, 2026, for travel through June 30, 2027.

Promotion Dates and Included Benefits

The booking window for this offer is open from September 1 to September 30, 2026. You can schedule your stay for any dates between September 4, 2026, and June 30, 2027.

This promotion applies exclusively to higher-tier room categories. You must book a suite or a premium room to receive the discount. Standard base-level rooms are not eligible for this specific rate.

The promotional rate automatically includes daily breakfast for up to two guests per room. You will also earn standard IHG One Rewards points on these bookings, provided you book directly through official IHG channels.

Understanding the Stay Requirement

To activate the free night, you need to book a minimum of three consecutive nights at the same hotel. The cost of the third night is deducted from your total room rate at the time of booking.

This offer is cumulative. If you book a longer stay, the discount applies in multiples of three:

  • Stay 3 nights, pay for 2 nights
  • Stay 6 nights, pay for 4 nights
  • Stay 9 nights, pay for 6 nights

The maximum stay limit for this promotion is 30 nights per booking, though some individual hotels may enforce a shorter maximum limit. Unused nights from an early checkout cannot be saved, refunded, or applied to future bookings.

Participating Regions and Exclusions

This offer is valid at participating IHG properties across the Asia Pacific region. Eligible locations include Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, French Polynesia, Vanuatu, Indonesia, South Korea, Malaysia, the Maldives, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, Japan, Guam, Saipan, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Greater China.

Most core IHG brands participate in this offer. You can book at properties under brands like Regent, InterContinental, Kimpton, Vignette Collection, Hotel Indigo, Crowne Plaza, voco, Holiday Inn, and Holiday Inn Express.

A few specific brands and property types are excluded. You cannot use this offer at IHG Army Hotels, InterContinental Alliance Resorts, Six Senses, or Iberostar Beachfront Resorts. Group bookings are also ineligible.

Booking Rules and Cancellation Policies

You must book this offer at least three days before your intended arrival date. Select the specific “Stay 3, Pay 2 – Suites and Premium Rooms” rate during the booking process.

Most participating hotels allow you to modify or cancel your reservation without a fee up to three days before your check-in date. If you cancel within 72 hours of your arrival or fail to show up, the hotel will charge your credit card a penalty fee equal to the cost of your first night.

To qualify for the promotion and earn IHG points, you must make your reservation directly. This means booking through the IHG website, the IHG app, the central reservation center, or directly with the hotel front desk.

Practical Advice for Booking

Compare the total cost of three nights in a premium room under this offer against the standard rate for a basic room. Because this promotion includes daily breakfast for two, the total out-of-pocket cost for a premium room is often equal to or slightly cheaper than booking a standard room and paying for breakfast separately.

Plan your trip lengths in exact multiples of three to maximize the discount percentage. A three-night stay yields a 33% discount on the base room rate. Adding a fourth night at full price drops your overall discount to 25%. Keeping your stays to exactly three or six nights provides the highest relative value.

Review the specific cancellation policy on the final checkout page before confirming your reservation. While the general rule allows free cancellation up to three days prior, individual properties have the right to set stricter cancellation windows or require early deposits based on local demand.

Use a credit card with no foreign transaction fees when booking international stays. The final bill is settled in the local currency of the hotel, and avoiding extra bank fees will keep your overall costs down.
