Hi, I'm Stanley Chan. After two decades of working behind the scenes in the travel industry, I'm now stepping forward to help you travel smarter.

Based in Hong Kong, HotelDig was born from a simple realization: booking a hotel shouldn't be a gamble. Whether you are navigating complex loyalty programs or simply booking a room, I'm here to guide you through the noise.

My Journey: The Code Behind the Booking

My career sits at the unique intersection of computer science and tourism.

It started with a degree in Computer Applications, where I learned to think in logic and code. But my heart was in travel. After graduation, I cut my teeth at Edmond Travel Ltd., spending three years learning the traditional agency ropes.

In 2003, I saw where the future was heading. I combined my technical background with my industry experience to launch my own online hotel booking platform.

For 17 years, I lived and breathed the hotel business. I successfully ran that platform until the global pandemic brought the travel world to a standstill, leading to its closure in 2020. But while the booking business closed, my passion for travel—and my insider expertise—remained.
