While Marriott typically pauses these targeted campaigns while a global promotion is running, this latest rollout arrives just as the current global bonus points offer wraps up. Eligible members who register in November can earn bonus rewards on paid stays completed through January 31, 2027.
Types of Targeted Offers Available
Because “Exclusive for You” promotions are personalized by Marriott’s system, not every member will receive an invitation, and the exact mechanics vary by account. Historically, an eligible account only receives one targeted promotion roughly every 12 months.
If your account is selected, the offer will generally fall into one of three categories based on completing a set number of paid stays or nights:
- Bonus Points: Earn double points or a fixed amount of bonus points after completing a specific number of stays or nights. For example, one newly reported offer awards double base points on stays of two or more consecutive nights.
- Bonus Elite Night Credits: Earn additional Elite Qualifying Nights (such as double elite nights) that help you reach or renew Marriott Bonvoy elite status faster.
- Free Night Awards: Receive one or more Free Night Certificates after completing a required number of paid stays within the promotion window.

Changes to the Registration and Earning Window
Marriott has recently shortened the validity window for its targeted promotions. Previously, members had the remainder of the registration month plus three full calendar months to complete their stays. Under the current rules, the earning window covers the remainder of the month in which you register plus the following two calendar months.
There is also a discrepancy between the promotional email text and the official terms and conditions regarding registration and stay deadlines:
- Registration Deadline: The email fine print notes that members must register within three weeks of receiving the invitation email.
- Earning Period: While the email footnote briefly states that stays must occur within two months of the registration date, the official terms and conditions specify that the earning period begins the day after registration and runs through the end of that month, plus an additional two calendar months.
In practice, the official terms and conditions govern how Marriott’s system tracks your stays. If you register anytime in November 2026, your earning period begins the day after registration and runs through January 31, 2027. Waiting until December 1 to register could theoretically extend your stay window through February 28, 2027, provided your three-week registration deadline has not expired by then.
Key Terms and Restrictions
Before booking stays to fulfill a targeted promotion, make sure your reservations meet Marriott’s standard promotional rules:
- Registration Required: You must register for the offer before completing your stay. Stays completed prior to registration will not count, and the earning window officially starts the day after you register.
- Paid Stays Only: Only qualifying paid rates are eligible. Award redemptions—including pure Points bookings, Cash + Points, and Free Night Awards—do not count toward the promotion.
- Direct Booking Channels: Reservations must be booked directly through official Marriott channels (Marriott.com, the Marriott Bonvoy app, or official reservation centers). Bookings made through online travel agencies (OTAs) do not qualify.
- Earning Preference: Your account earning preference must be set to Marriott Bonvoy Points. Members who elect to earn airline miles are excluded from earning promotional bonuses.
- Room Limit: Only one room per property per stay is counted toward a registered member’s promotional progress.
- Excluded Properties: Stays at Homes & Villas by Marriott International, Marriott Executive Apartments, and Marriott Vacation Club owner-occupied weeks are not eligible.
- Stacking: Targeted offers can be combined with other active Marriott promotions running at the same time, with each bonus calculated independently. Bonus points typically post within 3 to 5 business days after the qualifying stay posts to your account.
How to Maximize This Promotion
The first step is to visit your Marriott Bonvoy Promotion Central page to see if an offer is waiting in your account. Because registration only counts for stays starting the day after you sign up, do not wait until the day of check-in to register.
If you receive an offer and have no stays planned for November, check the exact date you received the promotional email. If three weeks from that date reaches into early December, you might consider waiting until December 1 to register so your earning window extends through the end of February 2027. However, if you didn’t receive an email or aren’t sure when the offer was loaded into your account, register immediately so you don’t risk having the offer disappear before you can lock it in.
