2．通過積分+現金訂房是可以取消的，取消訂房後只退還積分（全積分兌換房時的積分數量），這就可以變相購買積分。如下圖，P + C（15,000 Points + $99.00 USD），取消後退回 30,000 Points，相當於 $99 美元購買了 15,000 分（30,000 - 15,000），成本是 $6.6 美元/1000 分。在 IHG 沒有買分促銷時（低至 $5.5 美元/1000 分），可以通過這種方式獲得積分。
